The Radnorshire Arms is a warm and welcoming, family run hotel which lies at the heart of Radnorshire's old county town, Presteigne (Llanandras in Welsh, meaning 'the church of St Andrew').

Scant yards from the English border and nestled amidst rolling hills and wonderful open countryside, this Grade II listed building, with its wealth of original exposed beams and timber panelled walls, exudes an atmosphere of luxurious comfort and classic Jacobean elegance.

The hotel today is as rich in amenities as its 16th century structure is in history. With 19 rooms, all fully equipped to the highest standards, 2 restaurants, a residents' lounge, traditional bar and large garden, the Radnorshire Arms can accommodate individuals, couples, families and larger groups in relaxed and spacious surroundings.

This year sees the first major step in our efforts to refurbish this wonderful old building. The Garden Lodge is currently closed, and work will start on the rest of hotel towards the end of the year.

To celebrate this landmark event we are completely rebuilding our website, the familiar red, green and blue pages are going, to be replaced with more modern, clean and functional pages.
